It’s a very “hot” season for Riccardo Agostini. The young Italian driver, two weeks past the weekend at Imola where he scored a second and a fourth position, is getting ready for the coming weekend at Mugello, which will be followed 14 days later by the Belgian round at the Spa-Francochamps track.
On his first season in the Carrera Cup Italia, which also marks his debut with the covered wheels, the Antonelli Motorsport-Centro Porsche Padova’s racer is currently fighting for the top of the standings. Couldn’t be better for Agostini who, in the opening round in Monza, introduced himself to the public with two wins.
In the up and downs of the Tuscan track, the main target for Agostini will be to gain again the top of the podium, as he did already on three out of four races of the season, but also to gain more points for the championship.
Friday will take place as usual the two free practice sessions of half an hour each. Saturday 9.30 will start the qualifying of 25’ followed by the 15 minutes superpole only for the best eight. In the afternoon, at 16.10, will start off the first of the two races of 28’+1 laps, broadcasted live on Dmax TV and in live-streaming on the official site carreracupitalia.it. Sunday, 12.20, will kick off race 2.
