Greaves Motorsport secured by Kairos Technologies will resume their 2015 European Le Mans Series campaign this coming weekend at the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring. The team travel to the picturesque Austrian circuit, set in the State of Styria, in a confident mood following strong performances at all the races to date in 2015. The team are currently holding second place in the chase for the season’s honours and are looking to repeat their fantastic victory scored in the opening round, the 4 Hours of Silverstone.
Driving the team’s Nissan-powered Gibson prototype in the premier LM P2 class the driving line up of Gary Hirsch, Jon Lancaster and Bjorn Wirdheim will be at the head of the action looking for win number two.
Team Principal Tim Greaves: “The competition we face for the second part of the season is really strong, that has been clear from the opening lap of the first race. Who ever emerges as Champion will have earned the accolade the hard way. We welcome Bjorn back to the team and look forward to a good result on Sunday.”
Team Manager Jacob Greaves: “We are looking forward to another close race, there is not much to choose between the front runners. Our package of Nissan power, Gibson chassis and Dunlop Tyres has proved to be very competitive and our driver line up stands comparison with any on the grid. If we all stick to our plan we should be in a strong position by the end of the race, the intention is to be in front and get our lead back in the Series.”
